Sauna

The sauna stands down in the field, a black barrel with a view over the valley. We light it for local people and guests: a place to warm through, cool down, and sit together without screens.

Three ways to pay

One evening at a time, a card of evenings to share, or a membership that keeps the fire going. All three book the same seats in the same calendar.

The sauna is lit on fixed evenings every week of the season, whoever comes. Pick your evening below.

Good to know

  • Bring a towel, swimwear and a bottle of water.
  • Come ten minutes early. We meet at the sauna, follow the signs from the farmyard.
  • The sauna is shared: the number of places per session is limited so everyone has room.
  • Cannot make it after all? Write to o@ocommunity.org and we will sort it out.

Booking terms

A booking is binding once it is paid. It covers the number of guests you chose, for the session you chose.

If you cannot come, write to o@ocommunity.org at least 24 hours before the session and we refund the payment in full. Later than that we cannot promise a refund, but we will always try to find another evening for you.

You use the sauna at your own risk and follow the host's instructions. Please do not come if you are unwell, and take care with heat if you are pregnant or have a heart condition.

If we have to cancel a session, for weather or any other reason, you get a full refund.

We keep your name, email and phone number to run the booking. If you tick the box, we also send you three short letters about O; you can stop them with one click at any time.

Sauna cards: a card is valid for the period stated when you buy it, and a clip is one seat on one evening. The card is a bearer code: whoever has the code can use it. An unused card can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; used clips are not refunded, but a cancelled booking gives its clips back.

Memberships: paid monthly in advance, no binding period, cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid month. One seat per evening, at most two upcoming bookings, cancellation until 12:00 on the day. Two no-shows in ninety days pause the membership for two weeks. The membership is personal.
